Encaustic art is created by layering translucent bees wax and pigments which may be oil paint, oil pastels, dry pigments photos or photo transfers and are limited only by the artist's imagination.
Each layer is then fused to the layer below by heating the wax with a torch or heat gun giving each work of art a very primordial, organic, depth, peace and uniqueness.
